What is Applied Psychology?
This minor is designed to provide the student with the foundational education in applied psychology, including the scientific nature of psychological knowledge and how enhanced knowledge of psychological principles can be applied in various real-world settings.

Curriculum & Requirements
All minor courses must be completed with a minimum grade of C-, and a 2.0 grade point average must be maintained in courses for the minor. Two courses must be at the upper level (600 or 700). Only 8 credits may overlap between major and minor.

Program Learning Outcomes
Students will have the opportunity to:
- Demonstrate a breadth of knowledge and application of psychological ideas to simple problems.
- Interpret behavior to draw conclusions about psychological phenomena.
- Demonstrate familiarity with the formal regulations that govern professional ethics in psychology and begin to embrace the values that will contribute to positive outcomes in work settings and in building a society responsive to multicultural and global concerns.
